Due to the
sensitive nature of this product and the purpose for which
it is purchased and installed, the uninstall and
disengagement process is designed to purposely not be "quick
and easy."
You will
need to communicate personally with us on the telephone.
To remove
filtering from your internet access, you will need to know
the Profile Manager Name and Password and the answer to the
account security question.
Navigate to
the Control Panel section -
On the
bottom left-hand corner of your screen, click "Start", then
move to click on "Control Panel.”
Click on
"Add Remove programs". Wait until list of programs gets
populated.
Find "KosherNet
Client Filter" and highlight it.
Click on
"Remove".
The
computer will ask for your Password. Your Profile Manager
Password will NOT work here.
Select
"Forgot Password". You will then see a six-digit number.
With that number on your screen, call 718-972-2770 or
313-625-7194, and get to customer service or Tech Support.
You'll be asked by a telephone representative for your
Profile Manager Name and Password and the account security
question. After verifying your identity you'll provide the
number displayed on your screen, and the telephone rep will
provide you with a number to type in below the number on
your screen.
Entering
the number supplied by the telephone rep will allow
you to complete the uninstall of the program. The program
will be completely removed and your computer's internet
access will no longer be under the control or filter process
of KleenWeb, KosherNet's Client Filter program.
Please note: Uninstalling the
program does not cancel your subscription. Some people
uninstall for temporary reasons but wish to retain their
account information/settings. If you wish to cancel your
subscription, after uninstalling, please call or email us
billing@kleenweb.com
to let us know to close your account to stop the automated
monthly billing process.
