-
Can I
use this subscription for another computer?
A KleenWeb account includes up to five installations and
is designed for use with one Account Manager who
controls all aspects of all filtering for all
installations.
-
Can the 5 computers be in different locations?
Yes, if the same person will control all computers.
There's only one Master Password and certain setting
changes affect filtering for any computer under this
account.
-
What if I have more than 5 computers under my control?
You
may increase the installation capability of your account
to as many as you wish. The first 5 installations are
included in the monthly $12.95 fee. Every additional
installation triggers an additional $1.50 per month.
on this.
-
How do I use this program on more than one computer?
Click here to get to a screen that will take
you to where you can download the program again without
creating another account or paying. (Using this click
thru page without an active account - Profile Manager
Name and Password - will cause internet navigation
problems, so don't use the download unless you're an
active subscriber)
- I
want out. How do I unsubscribe?
You'd need to call us for instructions on how to
uninstall the program from any computer on which it is
installed, and tell us you are canceling the
subscription in its entirety.

for more information.
-
Can I get access to a site that is blocked for my kids?
Every Profile can have a different password. Keep the
password for a less restrictive Profile known only to
yourself, and have others use a more restrictive Profile
set with a password known to them.
-
How do I get more email addresses?
Call us or send us an email. Pricing is 1 - 4 more at
$3.95 per address; 5 - 10 more at $2.50 per address; 11+
more at $2 per address.
-
Do you have any other addresses available besides “@koshernet.com”?
The primary email address
established with your account must be @koshernet.com,
but you may select additional email addresses from
@ez2be.com or @13ave.net.
- Is there any way to
completely ‘turn off’ the filtering
temporarily? Say I need to access something on a site
that is blocked for all levels.
Sites containing some undesirable content
(examples - video and image sharing sites) are blocked
in their entirety and for all levels. Though there may
be acceptable (or even desirable) content on those
sites, we have no reliable way of ensuring that a user
could/would not access the undesirable material therein.
If a subscriber wants access to such a site, we then
allow it with the disclaimer that there will be presumed
or potential accessibility to undesirable content. It
could then be added to the “allow list” for Profile 1
(lowest level filtering) and the subscriber controls
access to that Profile by keeping Profile 1’s password
separate and “secret.”
Sites dedicated to content “universally
considered” objectionable are perpetually blocked,
beyond the control and request of a subscriber. Should a
subscriber desire access to such a site, their only
choice would be to uninstall the program in its
entirety.
- I
came across a site that I think should be blocked at the
filtering level I was on. What do I do?
Please send us an
email with the following information: Site address (example: www.xyz.com)
and the filter level you were on when accessing the
site.
In certain situations, if your
computer was on a less stringent level and you switched
to a more secure level (or simply from before your
computer had KleenWeb installed), there can be pages
from sites stored on your computer. So though a site is
now blocked, you are seeing pages from your computer,
not the internet. It is best to clear your computer's
"memory cache" (internal storage site of external
content). Click
here
to see how this is done.
- I
was trying to access a page and KleenWeb blocked it. But
there is nothing wrong with what I was trying to access.
How do I get access to the site/page?
The KleenWeb
Blocked Page screen has a button to click if you
disagree with the fact that the page was blocked. Please
use that click thru process to send us the information.
Always review the situation yourself, too. As long as
the site is not one that is blocked for all levels, you
can add a specific site to a Profile's "allow list" if
you feel it should be accessible at the level you are
at.
- I
messed around with the settings within the Profiles and
would like to set things back to they way you designed
them -or-
